OK, Lego Star Wars is a great idea, although I have a few questions...

First, why two different R2 units and no Threepio?
the droid witht the y-wing is a r4-d5, which is the droid seen being
lowered into y-wings in the movies

Why so few sets for Eps. IV and V, two total?
???  lets hope for more

-----No walkers, ST-AT/AT-AT?
i think we all pretty much aggree that an at-at is out of the
question..too big
however, an at-st or at-pt may be possible...lets hope!

How come there's no horse/dragon like creature for a Tantum on Hoth?
good question...i want a tan-tan with Han Solo riding it

What about an A-Wing or B-Wing models?  Although John Van did demonstrate the
effects of the creative ingenuity of a dedicated fan (nice B-Wing).
Personally, I'd like to see a B-Wing over a Y-Wing any day.
i aggree with you here, but as a possible explanation as to the lack of
b-wings: the only scenes in the movie which show b-wings are in-space
flights..and of thoses i think only 2 total

And where are the uniform foot-soldiers of the Empire in the good 'ol white
and black?  TLG sells Rebel foot-soldiers for their one Hoth set, and even a
maintenance guy for the X-Wing, but only the rarely viewed Jungle soldiers in
EP. VI?  Do I sense a little prejudice here?  After all, what did the Empire
ever do to lego;) • we definately need some regular imperial stormtroopers!

That's enough from me...

(...) Nope, it's defintely an R2 unit - look at it's shape and the LEGO Website. R4D5 is the red robot seen in SW:ANH being sold and then it broke down - it's a different design hence the R5 number Robot 5 Droid 4 if I remember. (...) AT-PT? I've (...) (26 years ago, 14-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)
