what are you talking about?!? maul was one of the most hate-filled beings in
the entire galaxy. he loved hate. he hated love. ;)
he was also veeery far from weak. he could have easily killed obi-wan. he
killed 12 jedi (at one time) when he was a sithkid. that's not weak. he only
lost because (besides continuity, cant have a dead obi, or another sith in
the classics ;)) is because he lost focus of his mission (to kill the jedi)
and started to torture obi-wan, when he should have thrown obi-wan's
lightsaber down on his head (blade first). that has his weakness. he was not
weak as a whole. big diff.
also, nowhere does it say that lukes midi-chlorian count is higher than
vader's. he only won vader in the final duel because he started to become
hate-filled and his father still had good left in him. just think, maul
could've killed luke in 2 seconds flat :D.
palpy didn't want luke to kill vader because he didn't like him, (he was
actually indifferent) but because to *try* and kill him would take hate,
which would start him down that gloomy ol' un-reversible path (you all know
what im talking about).
okay, i'll stop talking now, it's pretty late and you're probably bored off
