I'd say the cockpit pieces, plus the laser cannons could be used in other lego themes (the cockpits would probably have to have a different paint job, though.) I think pieces like Boba's hlmet/backpack, Jar Jar's head and the Eopies from the Gungan (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I thought the helmet could have several uses, but they saved a nice chunk of change on producing one mold instead of two (For instance, the plant I worked at, the car parts molds ran from 100,000USD to (...) I to would love to see lando make it into lego. I just think something would be missing if he didn't. About lego not doing civil war sets, I would not rule it out.
