  Bionicle Star Destroyer

Hello dear fellows! One of my goals is to find building alternatives for large and specialized parts, such as from the Bionicle series. Within these, there exists a piece of characteristical wedge-shape. A miniature fan like me immideately is being (...)   Idea for protecting your collectibles

Hello, Lego Fans! I am a newbie to this site and I am blown away by the expert knowledge and resources found here. I would like to, if I may, open a thread for feedback on a product that may come out on the market soon. Honest opinions only, please. (...) (18 years ago, 8-Sep-06, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New UCS!

(...) I picked mine up the other day and just started building it. So far I'm both impressed and disappointed slightly. I'm impressed with the size and detail. But I'm disappointed that the legs are not posable. Only one of the leg joints is (...) (18 years ago, 7-Sep-06, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: EP III questions (spoilers if you haven't seen it)

(...) The system they were coming from was on the other side of the planet. A fortunate coincidence for the Rebellion. At that point the Death Star orbited the gas giant and was using its gravity to sling shot around to the side with the moon. (A (...) (18 years ago, 22-Aug-06, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: EP III questions (spoilers if you haven't seen it)

(...) The theory I have seen most often is that evenly matched highly powerful force users will actually be limiting one another's movement making such fanciful moves useless or dangerous. Consider in episode 3 when Obi-wan and Anakin face Count (...) (18 years ago, 22-Aug-06, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: EP III questions (spoilers if you haven't seen it)

(...) Well, yeah--that's the mundane explanation. But what's the in-story explanation? Dave! (18 years ago, 21-Aug-06, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: EP III questions (spoilers if you haven't seen it)

Re: the lightsaber technique, when Lucas first created Star Wars the lightsabers were treated like broadswords from the middle ages, which is evident both in the fighting style and the fact that the blades are actually flat . . . watch closely in (...)   Re: EP III questions (spoilers if you haven't seen it)

(...) Thanks for the clarification! And thanks also to James for the input! I was surprised to realize/suspect that it was Tarkin, because I'd seen the film four or five times and never noticed before. I think I was busy checking out the skeletal (...)   Re: EP III questions (spoilers if you haven't seen it)

(...) Yes that was Tarkin, the actor was intentionaly done up to look like a younger Peter Cushing. (...) The Death Star at the end of Ep III had completlely different proportions leading to the conclusion that it was actually an early prototype (...) (18 years ago, 21-Aug-06, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: EP III questions (spoilers if you haven't seen it)

Yes, you caught the clumsy directing and continuity there! Unless, in that galaxy far, far away, pregnancies are much shorter. And I assumed it was Tarkin, too. So, the Death Star was "New" in Ep IV (its weapons needed a suitable target for (...) (18 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.starwars)

EP III questions (spoilers if you haven't seen it)

Having a hankering for Hayden Christensen's stellar acting style, I popped in my EPIII DVD last night to review a few of the highlights, and two questions presented themselves to me. First: What's the timespan of the film? The only indication that (...) (18 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.starwars)

What REALLY happens in the Sarlaac pit!!!

Hey all! I guess this answers the age old question of what happend to Boba Fett when he got eaten by the Sarlaac! Saw this posted earlier, but thought I would re-post it to make it a bit more easy to find! This was well after my time at Legoland, so (...)   if you could design a star wars set what would you make?

If you could design a star wars set (assuming the same sorts of constraints TLC has when they design it on things like size, new pieces etc), what would you design. My idea is to have a 2-part "storyteller" set (similar to the death star throne (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jul-06, to lugnet.starwars)

  Star Wars-ish Speeder Bike

Hey peoples, this is my latest MOC, based on the SW speeder bikes from Ep 6, however, I did it without looking at any SW pics, and it is my own design.   New Official Minifig-scale AT-ST?

After looking at screenshots from the upcoming LEGO Star Wars 2 videogame (URL) I wonder if there'll be a new official minifig-scale AT-ST coming soon?
