  Re: New MOC: BPod...Bwing Pod

Very nice work Gil. Way to keep the Star Wars pods alive. I thought about doing a B-wing but you beat me to it and did a magnificent job of it. Nicely done. Keep up the good work ;). Jamie www.ozbricks.com/jneufeld (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

Re: MOC: Definitive fig scale Landspeeder

(...) Ah, sorry...should have explained better. Back there, there are two 1x2 tan bricks w/two technic holes, each one with two small technic pin/stud parts (I LOVE that combo). There are actually two 1x4 bricks w/side studs, one on each side of (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  lets make 10030 do well

judging by the age rating of 16 years and up, lego is testing how big is the AFOL market segment is. If it sells well then my guess is we will see more huge sets, more sets that us AFOL's want (not that I don't like the other sets, I do very much so (...)   Re: New MOC: BPod...Bwing Pod

Thankya Matt. The opening mechanism was taken from the excellent innovation seen in Andrew Martin's Purple Haze pod. I hope the torch is picked up by others...it's a blast! Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

Re: MOC: Definitive fig scale Landspeeder

(...) That's pretty cool. I like it better than the "official" one. Now, can you make one to UCS Star Destroyer scale? :-) James Wilson Lugnet #1783 (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: MOC: Definitive fig scale Landspeeder

(...) Nope, I saw this on Brickshelf a few minutes ago, the color scheme is a big improvement. TLC used red in an attempt to duplicate the actual rusty color of the speeder, I'm not too crazy about it. I'm going to modify mine right now! I really (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  MOC: Definitive fig scale Landspeeder

Hey all. Yesterday in between heavy dosage of Phantasy Star Online and looking at Imperial Star Destroyer pictures, I sat down and rehauled -of all things- my Landspeeder. Yea, pretty weak, huh? Really, I shoulda done this two years ago :) You may (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Swing To Freedom

Excellent as always Amado. Your dioramas, whether Lego or PVC based are continually a treat to behold due to the obvious care and attention to detail you and your crew put into them. Not only are they wonderful in their own right, but they also have (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Star Destroyer: ages 16+

Did anyone else notice the age listing on the 10030? I don't think LEGO has ever required you to be (nearly) an AFOL to build one of their sets before... If this sells well, then we're going to see a whole new world of large LEGO ships, I think. I (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  What 7166 could have been....

Hi y'all! As you may or may not know, I'm an Imperial Shuttle fanatic. In an attempt to stay home and save money (I just ordered 10030) I have undertaken a new shuttle project. This time around I wanted to make the shuttle minifig compatible, as (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)
