Episode 2 sets have been spotted by Imperial reconnisance forces at a local Meijer here in Michigan, at 8 mile and Haggerty. Rebulic Gunship is there! Though the cheapness of the Imperial Army did not allow the scouts to bring back samples. --Kai (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I saw some of the new sets in a toyshop today but didn't buy any. The big gunship look really awesome, and it seems that the top part detaches while the bottom half turns into some kind of a command base thing. Not sure if this also "happens" (...) I've just been into Toys'R'Us in Southampton, and they've got all the Episode II models now. Yoda, Tusken Raiders, new Slave I, Gunship, Jango Fett and the Super Battle Droid (they've had Starfighters for a while now). They've also got a pile of (...) (...) It truly is, without exception, the best medium size set in the SW line. It's very movie-accurate with the exception of the pilots not sitting directly back-to-back like in ESB, but TLC still manages to make it look great. There is the second (...)
