I just got back from TRU. I had a great time. Waited about 4 hours in line
outside talking to some people more or less just for the fun of it. The TRU
I was at in Tulsa is I think the only store that opened at midnite in the
state. For episode 1 I think they all opened at midnite. Of course most of
the people were Figure collectors but I have to say that that crowd has
changed and matured since the last film. It seems that there are less of
them collecting and the ones that are left (at least the people I
encountered tonight) just like the toys and don't care about their value.
I met a few Lego people and had some printed out pics of my SW ships to
show. Talked about Lugnet etc..
The local news came by to film the various Jedi and Sandtroopers.
I ended up getting a Slave 1 and Bounty Hunter Pursuit. Total $86.31.
Grabbed a six pack and some food on the way home. Time to build! :-)
