  RE: Minifig X-Wing on Brickshelf

(...) Thanks! The "Top 1000 Noisemakers" thread in .people seems to indicate that I'm up there, but I think that's from having been here so long (since the pre-release version! I also remember checking www.lugnet.com rather often back when there was (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Minifig X-Wing on Brickshelf

(...) Bram, I've admired a lot of your models (as well as many other people's models on Brickshelf), so I consider any comments from the "LUGNET regulars" high praise. Thanks! I literally got my posting permission 90 minutes ago, but I've been an (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

UCS Inspired Minifig Scale T-65 X-Wing

I just posted to the Brickshelf Gallery my minifig scale version of the well known Star Wars T-65C X-Wing fighter. This design was heavily influenced by the Ultimate Collector Series 7191. It is a different challenge building details into minifig (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general) !!

  Minifig X-Wing on Brickshelf

When I saw the thumbnail in the recent gallery on Brickshelf, I almost skipped it because it looked like a picture of the UCS X-Wing. However, it turned out to be a very nice minifig scale version--with landing gear: (URL) job, Mark! (Does Mark Chan (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  The Return of 'Ask LEGO'

I've been invited out to Toy Fair this year, and LEGO has graciously agreed to do a Q&A for FBTB. I'm currently taking questions, more details onsite. Thanks and Happy New Year everyone Tim (URL) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Number of bags in UCS 7191 X-wing?

(...) Heh, sorry 'bout that Joel, but I did actually count my empty bags when I got home, I just haven't been to Online Active of late. As I said, Unless the Cat made off with some, I came up with 13 bags. You heard that right. Just over half are (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 7106, 7126, 7166

(...) Amen (to both counts... and of COURSE a 2m long Star Destroyer is microfig scale. That goes for anything macroscopic like Babylon 5, Enterprise - D or E, the Death Star, A-Rod's paycheck...). Although if/when the UCS TIE Interceptor comes down (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Number of bags in UCS 7191 X-wing?

Ok, this is a funny thread. Post after post of "if only..." :-D I ended up calling lego. They are sending me the instructions and the beige plate. They claim there are supposed to be 20 bags. So, even if I only get 21 random bags of lego for $52, I (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Battle droid parts in MOCs?

Well, by the very construction of the battle droids, nothing but the arms could really have a large use beyond the decorative. On that note, the heads might make some nice ornaments or levers. Sorry about my last comment in this topic, I was tired (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: Brief AT-ST review

Of course not so canon at my heart, but Force Commander game has some very nice land vehicles for rebel forces. There is also a nice troop transport shuttle, "rusty eagle". Selçuk (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Battle droid parts in MOCs?

Hey Kevin, Well, I've used the arms as hinge extensions. One thing I did was kind of like a hanger door, but I needed a gap, so I used several plates 1x2 w/handle, some on the wall, some on the door and used two arms each to connect them. That's all (...)   Re: Battle droid parts in MOCs?

I have a use for the droids! Send them to me! Seriously! If I get 2 more, I can fill up my self-made rack in my MTT! I'm also missing 1 arm. It's probably around my room somewhere, but I'm a little worried. (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

MTT Alteration (please read; I worked hard on this)

I posted earlier about making a second rack for droids in the MTT. I have since succeeded in that as well as making it a better model in general (IMO). I made some simple alterations to the front, middle, and rear portions of the model to create (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

  Battle droid parts in MOCs?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had used pieces from Battle droids in their MOCs as something other than droids. I'm starting to have a sizeable army and was wondering if their parts would be useful. So far, the only use I have found was for the arms. (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: Destroyer Droid head?

(...) That happens about half the time with mine depending on how hard I roll it. Here's what's supposed to happen. With the thing folded up, hit the red button on "top". You can see the little brace lift up and release the front legs. The legs will (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Destroyer Droid head?

Yes I did, thank you, but I already have those amendments. In the post I replied to, it seems that Ray Kremer may have further amendments to the head assembly, as per the following quote from his post: (...) of the small black ones. (...) (...)   FAO Schwartz display in Forum Shops (Vegas)

Hi all, I just got back from a sweet week in Las Vegas. I had a great time with my family and Chris. Throughout the trip Chris and I were trying to spot lego, especially in shell stations... we came across a KB Toyworks on the way to Hoover Dam... (...)   Re: Lego AT-AT

(...) Hey Guys, I just completed my version of an AT-AT walker on MLCAD. Complete with MPD or DAT. Building instruction are done too. E-mail me. I'll zip it all up and send it to you. Joe (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Questiona about availiblity

(...) I've had no problem with T.R.U. or Walmart nor KB toys. Maybe it's just a matter of location and shiping. The stock clerks may be taking long breaks too. (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars)
