  Trainhead gives space a whirl

Yeah, yeah, I know I've been into trains for quite some time. But after months and months of saying things like "I almost build space stuff", an upcoming LEGO show here in Dallas has prompted me to finally build some space stuff. I got primed by (...) The colors all work (the red striping looks cool,) I love your use of the dark grey printed slopes for the front engine intakes, and the angled snot walls you speak of look really (...) (...) I go back and forth as to which one I like better. The larger one definitely has more detail and is probably more accurate to the "real thing". The canopy definitely looks more to scale with the larger model. I like the smaller one since it (...) (20 years ago, 26-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Yeah, I think you're right, but I was experimenting a bit. It actually looks OK from a distance. Maybe I'll try some of the "new" grey when I get some and see how it looks. If/When I rebuild it to put in landing gear, I will probably change (...) (20 years ago, 26-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  New small spacecraft MOC's

I have two new models to announce, in addition to the P-38 entry I (URL) posted yesterday>. (...) Well, it is somewhat Bisonesque as you indicate, but it does stand on its own...its own spindly legs. It has a pleasant collision of Mack truck, earthmover, architect's-house-on-stilts, Hercules (the plane) and sheer playability. The contrast (...) (20 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Sweet work! Can't believe no one's done one before! Anyway, you don't have to add mine, I haven't been participating in .space very much. (...) Thanks Keith. If there's any C-38 in this moc, it wasn't intentional. :) But I do sort of see it, especially when looking from the rear. Don't worry about the colors. I'm not! I'll be doing light gray and green sometime, too. They all work (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
