I read the catalogs, Greg, so please
do not argue with me on this point and if you still do not believe me, look
at the catalog archives on Lugnet.

Has any person who has argued with me owned one of these sets?

I received the beloved 924 in 1978.  I recall it quite vividly; I know
that I received it for Christmas, and I know that I had it during Spring of
1979 (I still have it, of course!). Does this help you?

The sets were made in December of 1978 but were labeled as 1979.  This is an
occurence that happens much too frquently in merchandising and I think that
Lego simply confused people with that approach to their customers.
