I received the beloved 924 in 1978. I recall it quite vividly; I know
that I received it for Christmas, and I know that I had it during Spring of
1979 (I still have it, of course!). Does this help you?

| (...) The sets were made in December of 1978 but were labeled as 1979. This is an occurence that happens much too frquently in merchandising and I think that Lego simply confused people with that approach to their customers. (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)
