I thought it was quiet too.
I'm not building a ship yet though. I'm still trying to map everything out. On
paper at least, it looks like my ship will be roughly 32 studs wide X 90 studs
or so long. More than likely I'm headed toward a consolation prize as far as
size is concerned :-) I don't have the supply of bricks and plates needed in
the usual colors. I'm not willing to go with the rainbow warrior theme just
yet. I've taken a lot of the ideas I was working towards for a large ground
vehicle and am tweaking them to fit a spaceship. I'ld sure like to hear other
people's ideas (if they aren't classified). I plan on squeezing some pneumatic
cylinders in for the landing gear and possibly motorizing the cargo bay doors.
I think I'm going to try for a bi-fold roof type. Not too sure about that part
though... It's still all on paper.

| The main hull of my ship is going to be about 30x60, with four decks (each about 6 bricks high). With all the other stuff I'm trying to squeeze in, I haven't figured out yet how to fit in living quarters for 30 crew members. Maybe I have too many (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)
