  Re: "Spartan" medium assault mecha

Nice mech, Andrew! Ingenious name, by the way. I love the legs. They seem very sturdy, are they? The use of both new and old gray gives it a kind of 'been in a wreck but has been fixed' persona. Making me think it has survived many a battle, which (...) (21 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Jormungand Carrier Strike Craft

The thing about space is that you don't always have to have everything be vertical. Since the Jormungand is really tall, mount it sideways in the carrier. You could just make the launch bay Zero-G and build it sideways. The SNOT might be difficult (...) (21 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Jormungand Carrier Strike Craft

(...) Thanks. Up to now it is my favourite craft. I haven't built all that many space MOCs. (...) Yeah, the white plate was/is a bit irritating, but as you wrote I was intending to highlight the engine. I know many have used the light trans blue (...)   Re: MOC: AC Air Cobra

Hi Steve, Nice racer you built! The familly ressemblance with the AC Cobra is easily driven by the two white stripes going from the very front to the very end of your air car. Congratulations on this detail, I think it's not easy to keep lines of (...) (21 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  MOC: AC Air Cobra

In the whoosh-steps of Tony Hafner's ci maximum and Jean-Pascal Rignault's Air Corvette comes my AC Air Cobra! Inspired by Carroll Shelby's Vette-killing 427 Cobra of the 60's, the Air Cobra boasts a solid racing pedigree. It won't be long before (...) (21 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Jormungand Carrier Strike Craft

That's an excellent little craft. I love the overall shape of it, it's pretty unique. The design of the engine (I didn't even know that was a coffin, lol) is excellent, though I think it could be improved if you used a backing other than white below (...)   "Spartan" medium assault mecha

Check out my latest experiment with the new clicking ball and socket hinges, the "Spartan"- (URL) this one, unlike my "Juggernaut" design, I left the hinges exposed for the sake of lightness and used the Alpla Team socket bricks at the shoulders and (...)   Re: Retro-Future MOC: Serpent

Hmmmmpppfffff Soren you have to stop building. I think if I want to try and understand how you put toghether this beauty I'll have to spend more than one hour on it. The overall shape of this ship makes me think of a dragon head, more than a snake (...) (21 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Air Corvette

(...) You've hit the mark again. I have to admit that I don't see the 'vette in there so much, but it's a great aircar. I love the landing gear with balls on the end and the use of obscure printed parts. But the passenger space design is the best. (...) (21 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The INRI Deep Space Starfighter: Salvation is at hand!

(...) IIRC, that red 2x4 brick that was entered in the Galaxy Enforcer contest should definately take the title of Most Boring Ship - although at least it was not made with an all SNOT technique. ;-) Bob (21 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Jormungand Carrier Strike Craft

(...) You're right of course. I definitely need more armament if I am going to stand a chance against any .space faction! :) There are 4 nukes, 2 on either side, but I think another cannon in the snake head would work, thanks for the tip.
