  Re: New MOC: S P A C E Monorail in dark red

(...) Thanks for the kind words, Lenny! lol Sorry, I didn't mean to be cryptic, but I have an ambitious project that I may or may not be able to follow through with, so I hesitate to get too detailed about it. It's beyond a mere moonbase; in fact (...) (21 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Explorer

Hi Daniel I have lost myself in your brickshelf gallery many times over the last year or two. You never disapoint with the "big" ships. Thanks for sharing. Chris (21 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: "new" stuff for the Galactic Inqusition

Hi Daniel The Rapier is a great MOC. Perfect for the Galactic Inquisition. Just for fun: who exactly is the Galactic Inquisition fighting for or against? If the Space Vikings ever get enough ships and firepower assembled I have a feeling they might (...) (21 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) hey, I wasn't speaking for .space but generally! I didn't see where the FUT had been set!. However I do look into .space and other places quite a lot (although I mainly read .trains and .cad) so I'll keep an eye out. If a MOC is good its good (...)   Re: New MOC: S P A C E Monorail in dark red

(...) This looks great John! A simple design that really follows through - looks very futuristic and smooth. The use of the clear wall panels is great. You've certainly got my interest peaked as to what this Space project is - a moonbase perhaps? (...) (21 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Theed Palace Chamber

The Neimoidians seize control of the Theed Palace including the Naboo royalty without any incident. Queen Amidala remains defiant and refuses to sign the treaty that gives the Neimoidians full control of Naboo. Security battle droids are called upon (...)   Re: "new" stuff for the Galactic Inqusition

Hi Daniel, While I am not so fond of the Paladin (I find it a little heavy, maybe the head is a little big), I say WOW for the Rapier! Very very nice engine design, which make it an impressive VTOL (nice detail : the panels that can close under the (...) (21 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  New MOC: S P A C E Monorail in dark red

Yum, love that dark red:-d Here is a monorail I built for an upcoming S P A C E project I'm working on: (URL) It is 10 studs wide, with its sides virtually level with the track height. This causes it to be unable to negotiate through turn-offs, but (...) (21 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.trains, FTX) !!

"new" stuff for the Galactic Inqusition

Ok, so if you were at Brickfest, neither of these is new. What we have here are a medium assault mech and an attack fighter for the Galactic Inqusition. Each of these took about a day to build, and got put together just before Brickfest, to make the (...) (21 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce, FTX) !!

  Re: Explorer

(...) Firstly Let me say that I quite enjoy looking at your Ships Dan, I was blown away by the Dragonstar when you posted it. The Explorer, and it does really have a scientific feel to it too, Is a great ship, and making a ship look as if it can do (...) (21 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Explorer

(...) Dan, what more can be said about this ship? It's fantastic. I am unhappy that I can't be the most talented guy named Dan here on lugnet, but, your stuff rocks. I am not entirely sure about the front windshield, but that's probably just because (...) (21 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Thing found (was Re: The inquisition comes to your sector.)

(...) Obviously this reply is tremendously late, but I just saw this post... And I thought I needed to reply to the sortof question (1). I've been calling the "gargoyle-glyphs" grotesques. Grotestques are usually scary heads on cathedrals to direct (...) (21 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Explorer

(...) snip Wow! Lots of people have already commented, but I wanted to highlight a couple of things. First, I really liked the technique of sprinkling dark gray slopes at irregular intervals within the large light gray slope sections--that's very (...)   Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) It's encouraging to know that .space espouses the value of constructive criticism! For the record, I'd love critiques for all my future models. As long as it's constructive, I'm ready! ;-) Andrew (21 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Great site on Lego photography and doing special effects.

(URL) sure some here have seen this site before, as it was a Cool Lego Site of the Week about 4 years back, but due to its great utility I decided to repost it. I hope to implement these techniques when I get a digital camera (I have new MOCs to (...) (21 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.space)

What is this? An update for the DAC Sector?

Hi Starshippers... I am back from my extended absence and am working toward restarting my playing and my sector...I am working on the website stuff now. I have built a few new ships in the same boxy style I have grown accustom to... Richard, I (...) (21 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: The inquisition comes to your sector.

(...) Heh, thanks Andrew. You should've come to Brickfest, that mech and an Inquisition fighter were both on display. I built the mech the day before brickfest, and I think it came out remarkably well for one day's effort. I haven't gotten around to (...) (21 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
