The forces of the galactic inquisition are spreading into new sectors of the galaxy. Repent, lest ye be judged. First to be revealed is the Sword of Michael, an assault barge. The SoM supports a compliment of 11 Seraphim assault troopers.

So, I had the idea for this after I started seeing trailers for the Chronicles of Riddick in the early summer. It reminded me of how cool I thought the whole gothic space genre was. I decided to start with a ship with the shape of an angel on the front. I have some more stuff coming, and hope to be able to build a moonbase module for brickfest.

Dan,

Hey there. I still haven’t had the opportunity (or at least managed the time :-P ) to look over this thing in its entirety but I wanted to take this moment to say this is an intriguing and promising theme you have begun. I commented on the Crusader hardsuit the other day and I just spent some quality time in the “recent updates” of Mecha & Space on Brickshelf. I have to say that your monastery is pretty groovy and I’m interested as to what the “big ship in progress” is looking like now. Alright, well i know you’re busy with school and work (bah humbug!) so don’t feel obliged to respond asap. Catch you when I catch you and keep those MOCs churning.

PS - That mecha is looking quite soldier-esque while at the same time emanating that “made from stone” motif. ;-) I like.

Heh, thanks Andrew. You should’ve come to Brickfest, that mech and an Inquisition fighter were both on display. I built the mech the day before brickfest, and I think it came out remarkably well for one day’s effort. I haven’t gotten around to taking pics, what with school and being an FAA enforcer. Shh, the monastery is still a secret, and there are two big ships in various stages of progress, but don’t expect to see anything before winter break. You need to get your butt on IM dude.
