1) Could you try to redirect some of the lighting in your renderings? Right
now, some of the pics are a bit dark and some are a bit too bright.

A result of my inexperience with Pov-Ray, Im afraid. Ill see what I can do
with the Pov light sources in Ldraw.

I definitely recommend LDView for these sorts of things if POV-Ray isnt doing
it for you. The lighting is pretty direct, and you change your viewing angle
just by dragging the model around in the window. You dont have to deal with
any numbers at all.
However, of course, POV-Ray will give you much better looking results in a
real-life kind of way. (Heres a plug) Tim Courtney has a book called
Virtual LEGO that I was fortunate enough to pick up at Brickfest, and Ive
already gained a wealth of knowledge from it. It has a whole section (Chapter
16, I believe) dedicated to getting the best renders out of POV-Ray, and covers
the specific issues related to LEGO elements and lighting.
I used to just use LDView, but Im playing with POV-Ray more now thanks to it.
By the way, I like the design. It certainly has that executive-class feel to
it. I bet the in-flight meal is good!
Play Well,
Brian
