Hi everyone,

One of the largest ships I’ve built so far, I present the Eolus Series, from Starbound Industries:

The Eolus is a bizjet, however the Eolus is intended primarily for space travel. It is ill-suited to the transition from atmosphere to space and back.

The wings are SNOT, as are the engines and the windows. The rest of it’s pretty standard, build-wise (tho I did manage to include a toilet and some cabinets). The CAD shows the windows as dk. blue, but they’re really trans-light blue.

Hope y’all like it!

Stefan, I really like the overall form of this spacecraft. It's very smooth and curvy, which is nice to see in .Space MOCs. A few comments: 1) Could you try to redirect some of the lighting in your renderings? Right now, some of the pics are a bit (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) I really like this, but I'd like to see more of it. Any chance of posting the CAD file to the brickshelf folder? I can probably help out with some rendering settings too if I have the file to play with. As for the model - I approve of the (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Nice image. It looks like you also have Geometry->Seam Width checked (although it's hard to tell for sure). I think that when edge lines are turned on, Seam Width tends to just lead to extra noise in the image. On a side note, the Subdued (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

(...) Its a very sleek vessel, and looks like a natural evolution from modern planes to space faring planes. Here's a stupid question: Are the pods on the wings life boats or fuel tanks? -Avery (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
