Civvie space contest entry II - Aircar.

Alright it's not really space, but it is sci fi. It's a personal aircar for zipping around the skylanes of the cities of the future. This sort of grew out from the arrangement ot the headlight pieces which I threw together in an idle moment on (...) (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: The Crimson Star

(...) Very cool. That's a top notch ship for a first time poster. :) Sounds like you drew some inspiration from Anime like Macross Plus. Nice color scheme. You don't see too many LEGO MOC spaceships in red. This ship would look way cool next to a (...) (21 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Civilian Space moc contest entry - Space garbage truck

(...) Thanks Jean-Pascal. Playability is becoming more popular in .space these days. I don't always aim for that myself, but the boy appreciates it when I do, and it helps when the model pleases me aesthetically as well. In lugnet.space, Michael (...)   Re: New MOC: The Crimson Star

(...) I can see it now: "The Crimson Star. Sleek. Powerful. Deadly. She inspires fear in the hearts of her enemies. Just don't poke the winglets." Heh. Seriously, how tenuous is tenuous? I didn't see a good picture of the link between those parts (...) (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Jade Empire Tsetsura Class Light Cannonship

(...) There's lots of cunning ideas in there that I really like, too many to mention here, and will probably be pilfering at some point, but overall I'm not all that enthralled with the design. There's just a bit too much happening in a small space (...) (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Civilian MOC entry: Municipal Shuttle

(...) This has gotta be a contender. I really like this. This is schleim at it's smoothest. Nice one. Allister (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: More from the braintrust.

(...) Nicely done, Dan. I like the slopes for legs idea and am particularly fond of the idea of a ladybug mecha sometime in the future. Keep up the great work and thanks for xposting this. -Dave (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Jade Empire Tsetsura Class Light Cannonship

(...) (URL) (...) Thanks. I was looking at that myself, wondering if I like this model. I'm still not sure. The color splatter I kept, as you say, in line with the Giddens JE livery. It seems to work more than not as I don't have that much dark (...) (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Pirate MOC : Mosquito

(...) Thanks Daniel! I am also thinking of removing the white slopes and replace them with grey or yellow ones. Cheers, JP. (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Civilian Space moc contest entry - Space garbage truck

Allister this ship is great! I have no problem with the color scheme, very spacey indeed, very neat. And so much playability! I guess any kid would go with thumbs up for this MOC. Great level of details, greebles on the "back spin" of the ship. The (...) (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Tri-Wing Fighter Redux

(...) I'm not sure what the orbital velocity that close to a gravity well the size a planet makes would be, but I'm guessing other physical factors would come into play that would limit achieving it. What you need is to lay a bubble of frictionless (...) (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: The Crimson Star

(...) Thanks for the compliments everyone... hydraulic-like thingies was exactly what I was going for there ;) the attachment is pretty tenuous, but as long as you don't poke them, they hold together. Matthew (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: The Crimson Star

(...) Sweeeet. I particuarly like the, uh, fin things on the very outside edge, they have a neat mix of smooth red and what looks like black hydraulic rams or some such. I look forward to seeing more stuff from you. -Dan Rubin Chair of the (...) (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: The Crimson Star

(...) Welcome to Lugnet! Glad to have you. As for this awesome moc...wow. This thing is wicked cool. Great lines, great colors, perfect greebling (especially the dark grey bits).
