I've posted some pics of the most detailed, heaviest, biggest ship I ever built. It is a 7-deck model of an Intrepid-class (I believe) starship, the kind Voyager was - for you Trek fans. Yes I know the real ship has 16 decks. I can feel the mental (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.space) !

Jesus H. Christ. That's a huge, complex ship. I'd estimate that the parts alone cost $1500-2000, and the craft took 14+ months to build. How close am I? The structural engineering must be robust indeed. Great job. More commentary would be (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-04, to lugnet.space)

Thanks for the tip! I tend to go through alot of 1 x X bricks. I would really like alot of regular grey 1 x X bricks. I want to build a large hanger/living space for my custom A-wing. (21 years ago, 17-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
