  Re: The Oakland

Oh my! This is an insanely cool and unique MOC. EXCELLENT work, man. There's something to be said about the blockiness of parts of it, but I think with this design it works out okay. I'm happy that you used the boat hulls because I've had a couple (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The Oakland

Awesome!!! I posted a little while ago regarding innovative designs, and this one definately qualifies. I *love* the use of the boat parts for this MOC. Not only do we see boat parts here, we also see them used a la SNOT! Overall a great design, and (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The Oakland

I really love this design - it is so far off from all of the other designs we see. The part that impressed me the most was the lack of space inside the ship - it is too jam packed with stuff to afford living and work space, just like a real warship. (...)   Re: Jade Empire: Jiao-zhan Dou

(...) Good to see you around Chris, and thanks much for the compliments! I plan on incorporating the dino tails into my Jade ships as long as I think they work well in designs (and as long as everyone else thinks they look good!) I got into .space (...)   Re: Jade Empire: Jiao-zhan Dou

(...) Thanks Keith. If there's any C-38 in this moc, it wasn't intentional. :) But I do sort of see it, especially when looking from the rear. Don't worry about the colors. I'm not! I'll be doing light gray and green sometime, too. They all work (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Jade Empire: Jiao-zhan Dou

(...) Oh, I know Elefant wasn't an original Jade Empire manufacture. Doesn't change the fact that they have some sort of ties to the Eastern Block, and thus might incorporate some design aspects into their ships. My thoughts, anyways. Chris posted (...)   Re: More evidence of the Jade Empire Threat

(...) Lo Pan?!? Bwhahahahaa! Excellent! An homage to one of the classic cheezeballs of all time. Awesome. Wonderfully odd ship too....I was thinking that Jade Empire would have a spindly, angled look...like flying knives kinda thing. This basically (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: More evidence of the Jade Empire Threat

(...) "I'm lovin' it" Keith. I truly am. :-) Okay, seriously now. The construction reminded me of some of Karim Nassar's spacecraft. Just for that, I have to give you major props. Good work my friend. (URL) Mladen Pejic> (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: First MOC post--minifig scale dropship

(...) WOW! Kyle you rock! I can definitely see years worth of LEGO spaceship and mecha design theory in this masterpiece. The ship is just plain awesome. Although it is a *bit* unrefined, I see great potential for future designs based on it. The (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: More evidence of the Jade Empire Threat

  Re: Spyder autonomous defense droid

I said it on mocpages and I'll say it again...this thing rocks. Nothin' like a pack of angry automated infantry-support/supression spyders of death. Great job Chris, and I appreciated the 'in-context' photos you added since mocpages. Keep up the (...) (21 years ago, 18-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)
