This is my big dropship:

I took inspiration from the Talon dropship of the Mechwarrior universe, and the Pillar of Autumn starship (narrow hexagonal cross-section) from the XBox game Halo.

It holds either two heavy mechs or one (smallish) assault mech in the center section and either a medium mech or a light mech plus some power suits in both the front and back section.

It’s definitely not as cool as some of the craft they’ve got on .space, but let’s face it, aren’t mech dropships basically the panel-vans of 31st century combat?

WOW! Kyle you rock!

I can definitely see years worth of LEGO spaceship and mecha design theory in this masterpiece.

The ship is just plain awesome. Although it is a *bit* unrefined, I see great potential for future designs based on it. The armaments are ingenious; the little 5-halfpeg-missile boxes really knocked me out. I was like, “it’s so simple, yet perfect, almost anime-like.” Heh, good work. :-)

The mecha are fantastic as well. Again, some of them are a bit unrefined, but the three largest ones show real style. Again, great work.

I seriously hope to see more MOCs from you. Your building styl reminds me of some of the Japanese builders, it’s very austere yet somehow captures the anime feel quite well.

Oh, and welcome to LUGNET!
