| Awesome!!! I posted a little while ago regarding innovative designs, and this one definately qualifies. I *love* the use of the boat parts for this MOC. Not only do we see boat parts here, we also see them used a la SNOT! Overall a great design, and (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

| I really love this design - it is so far off from all of the other designs we see. The part that impressed me the most was the lack of space inside the ship - it is too jam packed with stuff to afford living and work space, just like a real warship. (...) | Oh my! This is an insanely cool and unique MOC. EXCELLENT work, man. There's something to be said about the blockiness of parts of it, but I think with this design it works out okay. I'm happy that you used the boat hulls because I've had a couple (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

| (...) I always dig your creative use of pieces. Its cool that you can use something like a ship hull in such a great way. The whole ship has a gritty work-horse look to it. I like it. Felix (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

| Wow! Welcome back! (If that means anything from someone who's still new here since your last posts.) I always like the re-purposing of pieces for spacy ends. This is a stroke of brilliance. It would be if all we saw was the cannon-base engine-flaps. (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

I like it! The engine detail is nicely done too. The main (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Welcome back Kenn. The Oakland is a real treat. Very innovative use of boat hulls (altho first time I've seen them in a similiar use was Jim Foulds's spider mecha) - but what amazes me more is seeing them in such a large MOC. Generally (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

I checked out the pictures yesterday afternoon and was impressed with the various "radical" parts usage -- the traditional cannon bases, the stair, etc -- (...)
