Ya, I'm gathering the same. What you (Rick) should do to spruce it up would
be add some texture and dimension to it. Have shorter corridor sections and
larger modules - habitation, cargo, command, defenses, etc. Take a look at
pictures online of artists' concepts for moon bases, and be sure to check
out 'Welcome to Moonbase.' Its by far the best book I've read to
familiarize someone with projects like that, very graphical and
inspirational for what you're doing. And its a fun read :)
If I wasn't swamped with stuff to do to get ready for school, I'd take the
time to make an LDraw mockup of my own or some sketches. But unfortunately
I can't really spare that much. Good luck with the project though, and keep
us posted!
