  Re: Short Haul Space Freighter

(...) Yeah. There's a couple I think - I don't have it in front of me right now (I'm at work). I got most of my bricks in bulk second hand lots, so I never know which part comes from which set. I like that brick. It's got a nice industrialness about (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Short Haul Space Freighter

(...) Yes, but a creative boxy. Boxyiness isn't a no-no, but rather it is difficult to get right. A good builder can do it, but most can't. I for one, can't. But this shuttle is an excellent example of how it can be done right! (...) Black ain't so (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: .space Subtheme Guide

(...) Bad idea. One of the key parts that make Subthemes so much fun is the LACK of specifics and excessive details - there is a general outline of information to provide enough background so that anyone can pick up the subtheme and make it a little (...)   Re: A New Threat

(...) I'd take that bet. I find it interesting how people put a blind eye towards blatant death and destruction, but the first time someone mentions a little harmless drug use, we all expect the man to come in and shut it all down. but checking on (...)   Re: .space Subtheme Guide

(...) A Galaxy Map or Starchart would be excellent and introduce a whole new dimension to the subthemes and Space category as a whole. Imagine finding out you live in the same system as 3vil or the Iron Reich for that matter! Scary stuff. Almost (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: .space Subtheme Guide

(...) Thanks for doing this Kevin; it is a great service to the community, and a wonderful resource for newcomers to get a handle on the multiplicity of themes. It may also be a can of worms, so to speak... I don't mean to quibble here, but I think (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Open the pod bay doors, HAL.

(...) snip (...) Yeah, it would be cool to display it publicly. I just have to convice the ParLUGment guys that it belongs in our next train layout. :) I love the picture! J (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: .space Subtheme Guide

This is a cool idea indeed! I'll have to get some more pictures together first, but hopefully you can add mine soon: Teurinoma. Has anyone ever come up with a map of where people's various themes are? Space is big though, so I guess anything could (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: .space Subtheme Guide

(...) Actually, I already have a subtheme. It's called (URL) Fantasy Force>. As you can see there's not much online yet. I still need a decent digital camera before I can take pictures of all the ships and series of ships I have. The sixteen ships (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: .space Subtheme Guide

(...) I think something is missing. They're aquazone, not space. Errrrr -Begin tiny violin- Okay, whatever. We'll ignore inclusion in the (URL) Turbocycle League> and manning (URL) deep space exploration vehicles>. Because, you know, they're in (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: PP 1444 X, my P-38 contest entry

(...) Thank you, Joseph, for your kind words and the 'beyond words' about which we can only speculate. I know I am often speechless before some designs too. I went back to my gallery and realized that I hadn't posted an image that showed the (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Hover Isetta

(...) The Isetta doesn't strike me as a racing vehicle, but I'd say the SRF is pretty close to the mark for my racers. The only problem is the huge intakes that kind of give it away as an atmosphere-only craft. You could fairly easily justify that, (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: .space Subtheme Guide

P.S. In the description for 3vil, you forgot to mention WHITE. White is very important for all the SKULLS. SKULLLLLLLSSSS!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH......aaa---! Your Lord and Master, 3GA (URL) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: .space Subtheme Guide

(...) Tim Deering didn't create 3vil. Dr. Terrible occasionally participates in 3vil, and other times he works to his own ends. He isn't necessarily 3vil, but he's definitely terrible. 3vil was created here: (URL) Bow before 3vil. Your Lord and (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: .space Subtheme Guide

(...) I agree. It might also inspire other builders to start up their own subthemes. Eventually it might become so big as to require arranging by categorisation, e.g. good, bad, ugly etc... (...) It's certainly got me interested in doing such a (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Short Haul Space Freighter

(...) Thanks. I'm kinda dissapointed that I could get a better shot of the corridors, but that would have meant a certain amount of dismantling - something I didn't relish doing. (...) This model was in part inspired by recent mumbling about (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Short Haul Space Freighter

(...) Heh. I like the way your mind works. It wasn't it my mind at the time, but I can see all those influences there now. (...) Thanks. (...) It did (URL) occur to me>, but they're far to big to fit through the doors. The 6x4 pallets fit nicely. (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
