Ley, that is a truly great design you have there pal, I saw it on Brickshelf
few days ago, the looks, the details and the whole concept are just beyond
words.. But like the others had noted, I dont see much of a P-38 influence in
it.. Yes I know my custom might be considered by some is as abstract or
radical as gets, but still, the basic shape is almost there IMO
But who cares, this thing you call PP1444X is simply one of the best creations
that I saw in a while.. All I can say great work, and good luck..

Thank you, Joseph, for your kind words and the beyond words about which we can
only speculate. I know I am often speechless before some designs too.
I went back to my gallery and realized that I hadnt posted an image that showed
the influence. Indeed, I hadnt even taken a picture; I was so caught up in the
angles. So if you will excuse the background, heres the missing view:
While the rear canopy which Mr. Goldman so charmingly refers to as the
drive dingus is clearly a nod to
the Fokker G1 (Virus warning:
you can see the picture in the Lugnet post, but dont click on the image without
reading the followup post.), and
though it extends rather far rearward, I think that the P-38 provenance is quite
clear in this picture.
Peace and clarity,
Professor Whateverly
