Ley this is a great ship. I really like the slide-open cockpit and
arch-insets in the wings. Like Paul, Im not feeling the P-38 vibe on this
one, but it is cool nonetheless. The only aspect of the ship I didnt like
was the drive-dingus that hangs off the bottom. It seemed a little
under-greebled and under-protected. Then again, I tend to overgreeble so it
might be just about right.

Thank you, Keith. Im glad you like it, and that you point out two of my
favourite parts. I shall definitely re-use both the cockpit and the arch ideas
in the future. The vibe will come to you if you let it.
This ship has a certain modularity about it, so it would be easy to swap in the
drive-dingus of your choice. Or, rather, my choice. I had thought of attaching
a TKunce drive, but this was to be an
MOC for the contest. Perhaps the current drive-dingus is self-protecting,
hmmmm...? Yes, how much greeblage to include is a question Im sure many of us
struggle with on a daily basis, and not even Dr. Phil can help.

Oh, and those little
white tubes are simply lasers for clearing the path of asteroids and other
space debris, though Im sure some of you will have other ideas...but,
really, its meant for the pursuit of science.

The science of mass desruction...I have the feeling that drive-dingus is
actually a wmd, and those clearing lasers are meant to clear out more than
just asteroids. Its always the ones who talk about peace & love that you
have to watch out for.

I suspect that most of the engine technology we see here in .space has major
destructive capacity, even if ones engine isnt also a weapon. As for the
lasers, one mans space-debris is another mans ...
Fill in the blank. Actually, those white tubes are some LEGO designers pathetic
substitute for a light sabre blade in white, inluded in
this set. Actually, I think we need to watch
out for people who casually bandy about terms like drive-dingus...
Hey, whatever helps you sleep at night...
Peace, actually,
