  Re: Crane

(...) Jason, I've checked your brickshelf folder, your containers and utilities are very convincing! Good work, I'd like to see something like this becoming the MoonBase standard for containers. JP. (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Crane

Neat, stuff Christian : ) I've decided that cranes aren't "spacey" enough though... In the future, cargo containers get unloaded and transferred to the rail-head by swarms of computer-controlled maneuvering pods : (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) I think you refer to the (URL) KR200>, this car has also been used in Brazil I think. Isetta link for the curious : (URL) JP. (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Hover Isetta

(...) Thanks Prof! (...) .space oddity.... it sounds soooooooo much like an old song.... "Ground control to major Tom... Take your protein pills and put your helmet on ..." Space and Oddity, JP. (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Hover Isetta

(...) That comment piqued my interest enough to go look up what a BMW Isetta actually looks like (kinda like a baby Beetle, IMHO), and it reminded me of the car that the Blue Raja drives in Mystery Men. Well, except for the fact that its scene was (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Hover Isetta

(...) An odd take on an odd original, this is truly (URL) morvellous> with its studlessness and economy of parts; it looks effortless. Great colour scheme, too. You've definitely got a style of your own, JP; I'd have recognized this as yours without (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: XOD - an Xpod pod

Between (URL) Steve Runnels> and (URL) Dan Sabath,> it looks like the beginning of a new pod craze. These bring a whole new meaning to the term 'wraparound windshield'. Peace and style, Professor Whateverly (URL) Just trying to catch up on things (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New Hovercar: "Coyote"

(...) Hey, Todd, I'm glad Lenny reminded us of this one. I saw it but it flashed by and I was unable to post when I thought of it. It's so hard to keep up with everything in .space recently... Anyway, I really like this MOC of yours. Excellent SNOT (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: PP 1444 X, my P-38 contest entry

(...) Ley, that is a truly great design you have there pal, I saw it on Brickshelf few days ago, the looks, the details and the whole concept are just beyond words.. But like the others had noted, I don't see much of a P-38 influence in it.. Yes I (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Open the pod bay doors, HAL.

(...) I had meant that it would be worth displaying publicly somewhere like at a library(1), but yes a case would be good to keep the dust and cobwebs off. It's amazing (URL) how much they add up.> Peace and public display, Professor Whateverly (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

AP-3811 is my entry for the P-38 contest

Hello, My name is Joseph Kazmo (aka Darkkazmo), I’m an AFOL and also a Lugnet member, but I haven’t been posting here due to the lack of interest in the Star Wars theme here over Lugnet.. You might assume that I’m a Star Wars LEGO fan and also a (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: PP 1444 X, my P-38 contest entry

(...) Thank you, Keith. I'm glad you like it, and that you point out two of my favourite parts. I shall definitely re-use both the cockpit and the arch ideas in the future. The vibe will come to you if you let it. This ship has a certain modularity (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Cybermen

(...) Notice the enlarged chest units. They now have filters to keep out gold dust particles. It took them a long time to figure out they needed these. ;-) K (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Cybermen

(...) Yes but Cybermen have perfect grammar, though "fragmentized" may not be a proper word (Revenge of the Cybermen). (...) Yes it is a minifig scale "The Robot" from Lost In Space. (...) Yes, it emulates bad lighting, space grunge, nice and grim. (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: ContainerHabs

(...) Nicely done! And very forward-looking, to have been done back at the beginning! It took me a minute to figure out how your door slid so nicely; elegant solution, and very spacey-looking! Looks like just enough room for one person to live with (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

Nice work Soren. I like how you made it all bulky and tough looking. The colours work, as do the greebles (gotta love those smoke dischargers). However, I think it needs a vision block. Or maybe more optical sensors, preferably in blue or cyan. (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  ContainerHabs

(...) Neat ideas! A stack of ContainerHab floors lends itself nicely to several high-density temporary housing uses: * Low income single person housing * Construction worker/military barracks * cargo runner motel (think truck stop) * prison cell (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)
