I remember saving up to buy one of these many years ago. It's a lovely set and
an under-used colour scheme at the time. I've put mine together again, although
the gold symbols have faded.
I think of it now more as a UN-like relief transport, so I've just adapted my
latest VTOL fighter to the colour scheme as an escort. I'll do pics of it once
I can get a successful animation of the transition to forward flight.
I did just manage to get the last few bricks to build the original 924
transporter, which is a nice feeling. A MISB one would be great, but there's no
way I could ever afford one. And I'd never be able to leave it in the box, even
if I could.
Could you do one thing while you have it - inventory all the tools and even the
loose spare parts that came with the set an put them on here.
Thanks,
Jason Railton

| Yesterday I opened a MISB 6929 Starfleet Voyager and build it. The build took surprisingly long time, but it was worth every minute of it. There was a FEELING building this classic, seeing it grow in front of your eyes, that I just don't get (...) (21 years ago, 26-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town)
