Hello, all. Ive finally got to posting some new MOCs. Although my new
website is still in progress, so Im starting a new stuff page.
http://creations.jhkruer.com/stuff/
Just click on the directory for each MOC.
The biggest one, the white ship, Im not totally happy with. Maybe its up
for a redesign? Plus, it began raining, so I had to use artificial light.
Thus the ugly gray tinge to everything in that MOC. Sorry.

This is my favourite of the group. Theres not very much wrong with this that
I can see. Youve got just the right mix of smooth vs greebling to my eye.
I like the open interior. Lots of techy looking stuff scattered about, and a
neat little buggy as well, although if it were me Id have made a separate
vehicle bay.
|
Yeah, Ive always liked the buggy. I had intended for the back to be a vehicle
bay, but the narrow airlock and small size made me turn it into an
engine-room/living quarters.
|
Also where does he sleep? Or is
this the bed? Ouch :)
|
HEY! Thats patented Airy-O-Sleep, young man! :)
|
It looks like the technology has advanced a bit from Chris models, what with
the warp nacelles (?) rather than traditional thrusters. This probably pushes
it out of the PCS timeline, but its cool nonetheless. (Is every ship with a
paradisa window necessarily a PCS model anyway? I dont think so)
|
As I said earlier, I didnt really have a PCS MOC in mind. Its just that I
liked the cockpit idea, had lots of gray and white laying around, and really
wanted to use the Star Trekky nacelles.
|
The only other thing Id add is a bit more detailing in the cockpit behind
the pilot. It seems a little bare to me.
|
MMm, yeah, I guess your right. That area I did in about 5 minutes, literally
just before I took pictures.
|
The Marsbase is ok I guess, although I tend to think of this kind of
microscale building more as a prototype for a minifig scale model. The hollow
hill is a nice touch though.
|
Lets see YOU make that marsbase! And that hollwed hill... Promotion to you if
you do! :)
|
The Timcraft is sweet. I like the angled cockpit very much, but how does he
reach the steering wheel? Its a shame you couldnt fit his signature cap in
there as well.
|
I didnt try puttign the cap on... I twas to lazy to find it. But I think it
can fit. He can sort of reach the wheel if he really stretches foward, but it
looks better with him sitting straight up. Anyway, he doesnt care. Wouldnt
know how to use it, anyway. :)
|
Could the vintage spacers out there please explain this prejudice againt poor
Timmy? Ive never understood it.
|
Neither have I... thats why I used him!

PLMKWYT! And dont be afraid to criticize.
Im gonna be leaving for a music camp this Friday, so try to answer ASAP.
Otherwise, I wont be able to reply to your feedback. I dont know if I can
access email correctly there. I wont get back for a month, so Im going to
miss you guys. :(
|
Have a good time, but stay away from those flautist girls young man. Theyll
only get you in trouble.
|
Ah, no chance, no chance. Im too young for them. In a few years... :)
In other news, you can get full control over a computer here, which includes
logging on to LUGNET. Oh yeah.
