The shape is good. Nacelles give it a bit of a Trekky look (as that bad?). It
think some of the tiles could be something else, though. Greebs, sensor
bulges... stickers? *gasp!* ;-)

Mmm, I tried to sort of keep it clean with the tiles, although I guess I could
put something there.

Plus, it began raining, so I had to use artificial light.
Thus the ugly gray tinge to everything in that MOC. Sorry.

Still came out arbitrarily better than my photos (yes, mine were
post-processed!).

All they needed was just an auto levels to get the white balance white.

Okay... the way I feel about microscale is that there’s small and then
there’s too small. I think the Mars base is too eensy and misses out on
modelling cool potential features (support vehicles spring to mind). It needs
a landing pad too, with some sort of microscale craft. Other than that it’s
cool.

Too small? Well, just because I don’t have enough bricks to make a 3-foot
long marsbase doesn’t make it too small!
