Hello, all. I’ve finally got to posting some new MOCs. Although my new website is still in progress, so I’m starting a new stuff page.

Thanks!

Don’t know if I’ll catch you or not John, but a nice way to check out for a little bit! Excellent stuff.

Thanks! Well, I gues you could say you got me... sorta

The explorer is a real feat. You’ve totally sleeked out the line of it with the long slope, tile, SNOT combos.

I really like the aft of the ship....a nice, clean taper and the grey looks great here.

I really liked the back of the ship, too. It was one of those inspired moments. I probably like it the most out of the whole ship.

If I were to offer any suggestions, it would perhaps be for the interior. I always envision interiors for midsize ships as cramped, compartmentalized affairs. I’m wondering if you broke up the straight run of your interior with distinctive bulkheads or doors...almost like a submarine feeling. I find that lets ships have areas with a very specific look and function. Again, all IMO.

Yeah... I thought of doing that, but I sort of ran out of time. The MOC had just been sitting there unfinished for a long time, and just before I left I decided to finish it and post it. I like the idea so much that I’m probably going to make a second version. I like the bulkhead idea.

Timmy’s ride rocks...excellent idea of keeping it all on an angle - and the photography is beautiful.

All thanks to the sun... really, it’s not that great. Anybody can do it. I wish I could do away with those dark shadows...

Micro never really jumps out at me too much, but I think that you’ve done an inventive job on this...particularily the storage tanks.

You should try micro, Gil. It can be really fun and imaginative. It makes you learn how to use pieces well for detail.

A truly pro demonstration John. Just think what you’ll come up with after a whole month of noodling about new designs!

I already have two that I’m starting... one is a Space Tug. You see, I brought a whole bunch of Lego to the music camp... :)
