Hi everyone,

About two months ago, I built this MOC with Joel Kuester. I have been holding
it until fleebnork.com debut, but my server is lame and won't allow the website
code to work. So I'm just going to post here so you guys can check it out.

This is the Candiru, a smuggler ship. It has an internal smuggling compartment,
and hidden weapons.

Mark, I really love this ship. I have been awaiting you next MOC with a gleam in my eye! From what I can see, the color scheme is really great. I especially like the shape! It looks to me like it's some kind of dinosaur-thing-a-ma-bob, with the (...) (22 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Mark, It amazes me the depth of talent displayed so many models by so many builders. Very awesome. How did you manage to get it to stay upright with such weight in the front? John (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Oh Grand one, Great googily greebly! This is cool as all get out. It's amazing what happens when space minds meld. (we needs to get joel some brick... and make him build) Anyway, what a fast lookin ship, and I can just see it spreadin' the smack (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Wow. I really agree that it looks kinda like a super-deformed dinosaur Bird-of-Prey kiwi. :) The shape is very... unique. I love the look of that long ramp going down the belly. And the interior looks great, too, although I would like to of seen (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Grand Admiral & Joe, This ship is so cool. The design is unique and the color scheme is one I really like. Greeblie goodness all around. I like how it appears that the Candiru is about to "pounce" on anything in front of it (that or just peck (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Wow Mark! I can't say anything that hasn't been said yet (bird-shape, cool colors and scary look) but I just had to salute you, Grand Admiral! Love, Sylvi (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Beautiful! A very predatory vessel. I'm always impressed by the number of features you manage to cram in your ships. Time to look into retractable weapons... Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Nice - a cute design that belies its dangerous nature. I feel that it needs more of a tail, though. Lack of a tail makes it look unbalanced to me. So how long were Joel and yourself working on this? Were you building while staying together, or (...) (22 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Kudos to both of you! My favorite little detail is the hidden belly guns. Question: What is the cargo pod looking thing in the middle here? (URL) most amazing part is that you were able to integrate both of your work into one model. That's the (...) (22 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.space)

As said in chat Mark, this thing is a beaut.....you and Joel did a foine job. Collaborative builds are a total blast, for all the reasons you've mentioned in this thread. It reminds me of Gatchaman in it's form. One of the things I loved about '70's (...) (22 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Fantastic. I love the organic design. I would second trying to design a tail. It does fine without, but I think would add even more "life" to it. It's exciting to see a collaborative build. (22 years ago, 21-May-03, to lugnet.space)
