Greetings to one and all.

Inspired by the current "Feedback" discussion, I bring to you one of my
latest models -- sadly, due to my inability to model hoses and my inability
to find the wheel rims, those parts of the model are removed. The hose would
have been on the nose of the model, and it's easy to tell where the tire
rims would have been.

Without futher delay:

That's currently the only shot I have of it. If you'd like to see any
special one, just ask!

The Starphyther -- part of the New Carona Fleet, formed after the
destruction of the Administration and Drislogan and the disappearance of the
Berinacie -- carries no weaponry. Instead it has 2 weapons hardpoints and 1
sensor hardpoint, the weaponry hardpoints being directly above the two
stabilization wings. The sensor hardpoint is located in the nose, and can
take any variety of sensory add-ons.

Please let me know what you think! And in response to somebody who said they
looked down on CAD Lego, well, I built this one in real life before building
it in CAD! Get me a decent digicam and I'll get you real pictures! ;)

Enjoy,
--

That's cool! The shape of the craft is very nice. The rising tail coupled with the two 'wing' pieces is very nice. And the placement of the engines is great too. Looks like a no-nonsense Starfighter, err, Starphyther. Too bad about the unavailabe (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Hey that looks not too bad. I was always a sucker for those little single pilot fighter type ships. Nice work with the railings on the tail. It would be interesting to see the actual model, but CAD will do. Keep up the good work. Jamie (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Looking good Mark! Ever since the M-tron 6923 Particle Ionizer, I've always liked the concept of the futuristic helicopter...a design this seems to be in that category. The angles of the tail section break up the main beam of the ship nicely, (...) (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) use of the tires. Can't say I dig the color scheme tho - I'm sure I'd be saying different if I saw this thing "in the brick". -Chris (22 years ago, 18-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hmm...that's a rather interesting model. Nice use of guard rails for the sides, as always, definitely like the sleek aerdynamic look complimented with the 4 x 7 cockpit parts. Need a few more pics, though. Great model! <<_Matt Hein_>> Fellow (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
Re: New MOC: NCF-Starphyther: New Pictures

Greetings to one and all! I return with more pictures of the New Carona Fleet: Starphyther, and with thanks to JHK for tipping me off about the hose generator in MLCad 3 (Which I still haven't completely figured out), here we go! (URL) your average (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
