  New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

Hiya, Here's a look at my new MOC the AstroFoxx. It is a Fluxocraft EX-108 Transport. The Fluxocraft line is made to be modified by the consumer and the AstroFoxx is no exception. The AstroFoxx has been outfitted with 2 Havoc XL drive pods for (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc) !

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) snip (...) Yeah, but how fast can it make the Kessel run? ;) Seriously, that's a pretty lean, mean looking ship. Jeff (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

Very cool Chris. I spotted the crew teaser on Brickshelf a day or so ago and have been looking forward to the unveiling. There is just somthing about tramp freighters just barely on the right side of the law that fits just perfectly with the (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) Our parsec gauge only goes to 11. So we have to say the Kessel run is done in 11 parsecs. What she'll make past light speed has yet to be determinied ;-) Thanks for the compliment!! Chris <>< (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) Thanks! I looked at my "legoverse" and I had no shady characters. So it was fun coming up with one. The clean shaven, no eyebrows, bald spaceman needs some spice in his life. I'm hoping to start a moonbase module for a home for Myra. Oh, I (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

Ooh, I like it. I have to admit I'm partial to that windscreen scheme. The engines are way cool, though it made my first impression of the ship "Star Trek gone bad." Nice layout of the interior, though I don't see much cargo space. Maybe I just (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) Thanks! Ya those Slave 1 canopies are excellent. Many of the newer elements, while not exactly old school lego, do allow for some really cool new shapes. The cargo area is behind a shielded doorway. (camera battery went out before I could get (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) Wassssup -Snip- (...) Great job Chris! The AstroFoxx is awesome (the red and black go great together). Great details. HLDITY to build it though? Hasta La Vista, Sean (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

Wow! Those canopies and the circular engine pieces work well. Very cool shape. I also love all the detail and rooms you packed in. Great idea of using a cape for the bathroom curtain! Great job! -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) Thanks! Ya Adrian's Blood Moon proved the red and black color combo was excelent. (dang that's a cool ship). This ship took a month or so of light building. (didn't do any late late night buildin' to finish it) It was together and taken apart (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) Hey, thanks! The bathroom curtain I believe came from Kyle Keppler. (certainly not original to me). It's great for making a door that doesn't use valuable stud space for interiors. Thanks again, Chris <>< (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) Hmm, I know I used that design in my ship, but if I remember right, I ripped it off of someone.. Tim Coutney maybe? (That's funny, cause it's not like he ever builds anything ;-P). Ps. Nice ship chris, I really dig the windshield and the big (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) For clarification, a Parsec is a unit of distance, not time. See here: (URL) (...) Anyways, great creation Chris. I really like those canopies used in that arrangement. Hopefully, I'll actually get around to using mine soon. I dig the command (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) Yes. Lucas goofed it in the first movie, folks have tried to retro fit the meaning of the statment. Actually I was re-reading the whole "debate" on that line in SW yesterday for fun. The message from MST3K kept coming into my head.. "You (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  clarifying parsec and unlurking

(...) Lucas has stated that Han was trying to impress Kenobi w/ some BS and that Kenobi didn't buy it cuz Kenobi KNEW that a parsec is distance and not time. If you watch Alec Guiness's facial expression during the scene you'll see him roll his eyes (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: clarifying parsec and unlurking

That is awful news Paul...I hope things turn around for you. Hopefully the return to University you speak of is the start of better things. Your contributions here are great and will be missed if you need a hopefully short hiatus (read: dim (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Dude, Lemme know if I can help you. In the least I'll offer some space on www.classic-space.com if you want it. e-mail or IM me when you get the chance! Chris <>< (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) Cool - I can see the F-wing (one of my faves) influence in the engines. Excellent detail and interior. Jeff J (22 years ago, 17-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Space Ship: AstroFoxx

(...) Well... I don't think they had to fudge together that excuse. A Parsec (parallax-second) is defined by Earth's motion around the Sun. How would Han know (being from a galaxy long, long ago and far, far away) how we would define a Parsec? ;) (...) (22 years ago, 17-Oct-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)
