That's a blast, Chris!! Well done!

There are not enough 'bases' done in .space, and this gives an offbeat
approach that while being hilarious, incorporates a lot of ingenious design
bits IMO.

The outside of the place looks just as I would have imagined such a boozecan
would look like.  Looks like a place you might find the Starjammers or Lobo
(for those fellow comic geeks out there) saddling up for a Sirius Sling with
a twist of lemon.

Great job.

Cheers,
-G

Hi all,

youngsters are invited; you don't have to be 21 to get into this place.
Thank goodness for the lack of age restrictions in the Burfurgle sector.
Remember, if you show your Space Marine ID card, you drink for half price!

One little note:  The outer airlock door window is something I really like.
It consists of two headlight bricks pointing "up" with a 1x2 clear panel on
them.  This creates a glass-thin window that sits recessed from the door,
similar to a real airlock.

Inspiration kudos on this one go to Mark Sandlin and Jon Palmer.  Thanks fellas.

LMKWYT!

(...) Thanks Gil! (...) Yeah, I was thinking "what can I do that's original enough to be original", and a building came to mind. Then I put the spin on it, and got the bar. (...) Great - that was just the look I was going for. (...) Thanks again! (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)
