  Re: The Blacktron II

Looks real nice! I'm glad to see a large scale BII creation. The concept of local superiority in terms of ship strength is also really well done. Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (URL) (18 years ago, 17-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Battlestar Galactica 2003 TV Series

Hello dear fellows! Some of you may have noticed that I built some Galactica stuff recently. All from the classic series, as I like that one better. However, one cannot deny the popularity of the new TV series which started in 2003. Hence, I decided (...)   Re: The Blacktron II

(...) Very nice. I really like the back "swoop" sperated from the main body. The back half just makes the front half stand out all the more. Very nice use of the "flex" of 1x2 bricks. The color scheme is spot on perfect. Better than the actual (...) (18 years ago, 14-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Blacktron II

(...) That was a very impressive ship when I saw it in person at BrickFest. I'm really glad you posted about it and I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to congratulate you on it in person at BrickFest. And I got home and realized I hadn't taken any (...) (18 years ago, 14-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Blacktron II

(...) It's beautiful. I couldn't stop looking at the wonderful design at Brickfest. Good to see some innovative Blacktron-II work. My 5-y-o daughter saw it at the Expo and said, "It looks like a double burrito!" Which means she liked it a lot. I (...) (18 years ago, 13-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Blacktron II

(...) Wow! I love the exterior. Very nice use of BT-II trans-antifreeze all over the exterior. The bridge is fairly simple, but cool. I love the interior of the hangar bay. The details that are there make it look like the inside of an aircraft (...) (18 years ago, 12-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

That sir is amazing! I was astounded when I saw pics of it on Brickshelf (from Brick Fest PDX), thank you for building that ship! So much to see and consider, wonderful work, wow, truly awesome! Hey, what was it like for you on Public day when (...) (18 years ago, 12-Apr-07, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The Blacktron II

Hi Nathan, It was truly a pleasure to see this beauty at Brickfest. Words fail me when I try to describe this ship. It is truly gorgeous. Josh (18 years ago, 12-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Blacktron II

(...) Holy moley that's cool! My first impression is that it looks like a darned big whale shark and at six feet long it probably seems about that big in person! I'm on my home dialup connection, so it would take me until the end of the universe to (...) (18 years ago, 12-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

WOW! Fantastic! Kudos to all! This is the most amazing collection of Lego space I have ever seen! If I had known this was going to be at the Brickfest (and if the Brickfest was held on any other weekend) I surely would have made the trip. Four years (...)   Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

(...) [SNIP] (...) Hi Matt, Brickfest has been a great party and I enjoyed the Space tables and the sets i used to know from childhood days... Just as a sidenote on complete collections: Star Wars complete has been done in spring 2007 at Frechen: (...) (18 years ago, 6-Apr-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space)

Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

<snip> (...) Matt, BRILLIANT! I'm really enjoying the pictures of this display more than anything I've seen in a long time. As more galleries show up on Brickshelf I see new perspective on the display. It would have been worth an airline ticket from (...)   Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

(...) As Tommy explained, he did the markers. They were my idea - I didn't want a big MOC card type thing to distract from the display, but I wanted some sort of marker that would identify each set. Tommy and I worked out the details, and they (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space)

Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

(...) Yeah, the 1526 is naturally a bit of a guess since all we have is box art to go from, but I think we got it pretty close (except the 4x4 radar dish fell off the front of the vehicle during shipping and since none of us knew the set very well I (...)   Re: Lates Talin spaceships

I like the Talin 3: (URL) The long, asymmetric shape of this design is a great departure from the norm. The double pressurized module for the crew cabin and cockpit is really nice and just adds to the asymmetric feel. I can't say that I like the (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  MOC: Ubrikkian Landspeeder

Hello, It's been a while since I've posted a MOC, so I figured it was time to actually take pictures of the several I've accrued over the past few years. Anyway, here's an Ubrikkian Landspeeder (the weird ball thing outside the Mos Eisley Cantina). (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim) !

Re: Space Complete! At the Classic Space Fly In...

(...) I will take partial credit for the neat little slope markers with the set number and year engraved on them and the logo on the 1x2 caps. Matt came up with idea and even designed me a jig/vise (out of LEGO of course) so could do them on my (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space)
