  Re: Spice Harvester

Hey Soren, Very cool! It has a very insect-like feel which is very appropriate. I can't count the number times I've reread, with relish, that book. I've even read all the following ones. Now if TLG would really start cranking out the tan and sand (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Warping in with a new MOC - the Mantaclaw

  Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

Thanks Jeff! (...) That would be cool, but there'd be no way my measly yellow tiles collection would stretch that far. :P (...) Definitely, or maybe less armor and way more guns. mmm (...) Yeah they are really useful. The LPT is (...) Again, if I (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

(...) Thanks Curt! I would have liked some more yellow, but there's only so much you can do with what you have. (...) Thanks again! -Geordan- (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

Thanks Gil! (...) Yep, I was definitely thinking about blackhawk down-esque missions for this, ie. lots of rooftop rpg's, small arms fire etc. (...) Thanks I was looking for that effect. (...) Definitely. Thanks again -Geordan- (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

(...) Thanks Zac! (...) I definitely agree. It would like much better in that arrangment, I'm not sure what prompted me to do it the way I did. (...) thanks! Going back on what I said before, maybe the cargo bay is (...) Nope, both vehicles just fit (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 3 new spaceish Mocs!

Thanks Mladen! (...) Thanks, I needed something that could take a beating, give a beating, and drop equipment that could give further beating. =^P (...) Hehe, probably not feasable, but it looks cool. :P (...) Yep, exactly the look I wanted, (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Spice Harvester

Interesting. The technic tread-links, really make the model, IMO. It wouldn't look as massive without that. Cool use of the saucer dishes also. -Stefan- (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) Thanks! (...) funny thing is, the unmanned sub really still needs a mother ship. I just literally built a barebones frame for it. Most small scale stuff is tough to do...it's really easy to overdetail or greeble things, which is why I tend to (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) Brilliant! I love the SeaHunter and the unmanned sub puts some recent efforts of mine on the small scale of aquazone to shame... Great work and use of old and new slants... God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Two New MOC's (somehow this was posted to .town)

Well, Atleast one and a half. The first is a little motorcycle I "borrowed" from Jun Nishizawa. I thought it was neat, so I built it. See it here: (URL) second is the "half" MOC I was talking about. It's called the "Hizharu" Flight Pack. It's a (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Spice Harvester

(...) Thanks! (...) I rather like the Yellow and tan, gives it an industrial sort of look. PITSCO will sell you 36-link packs of treads for $7.50 US, pricey but worthwhile. (...) Not one of my own making. Go read Dune! I promise you'll be rotten (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: It's done

(...) Cheese... Er, where was I? Oh yes. I'm terribly sorry, but there is no way I can get to brickfest. Being seventeen, jobless and unable to drive has never sucked more than it sucks now. Maybe, if the great LEGO gods are merciful, next year. (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Spice Harvester

Wow! That is so original. I love the effect of that big 'hump.' The claws are great, and the treads look cool. Mmmm, wish I had some. The only thing I don't like is the small smattering of other colors. I think if it was kept to just gray and black, (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: It's done

(...) Soren, you must come to brickfest! Gonna be such a great gatherin' of spacers. The more spaceheads, the more MOCS and modules, the more attention to the POWER OF CHEESE.. er SPACE!. mmmm cheese. We'll be all about talking, playing, building, (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
