  My son's MOC: Duplo Spaceship!

My 8 year old son made one awesome Duplo Space ship the other day. He tells me it is the fastest ship that has ever been made and does its part to protect the universe from alien life forms. It is made out of 100% Lego Duplo parts and if you have (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.duplo, lugnet.space) !!

  Re: Idea: small hatch

(...) Wow, another hatch idea I'll have to steal! ;-) Allister's hatch look like it would be an interior hatch (think service crawlway), while your's gives the impression it would be an exterior airlock. Both are very cool. Nathan Wells (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Idea: small hatch

(...) Hey, that is cool! I'm always scrambling to find cool hatches (I couldn't build one to save my life!) ;-) Nathan Wells (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Scout

(...) Hey, This is a neat little buggy. I think it's hittin' on the PCS idea well. Reminds me of my little shuttle from last year: (URL) get us some more pics!! You took a CS model and retroed it. GREAT. Black tires? s'okay. I'd probably prefer grey (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

Now that's pretty slick! I especially dig how it sits "off angle." Cool interior too. Bling bling! --Dan (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) Umm, thanks. I think. (...) Heh, not bad considering I just pulled this design out of the vaccuum of my mind. :) Adrian -- (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ogel's Gyro Sub

Nice to see more underwater sci-fi. Very befitting of Ogel. The ship gives him room to stand and make evil gestures. (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

looking for information on a particular old MOC

From memory, it was done by one Joseph Gonzalis and was an alternate model of the 6973 Deep Freeze Defender. I seem to rember building instructions for it somewhere but now they are gone. Does anyone have building instructions or a .dat file for (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.space)

  Re: Scout

(...) Thanks. (...) I did try it with white wheels, but somehow it just didn't look quite right. I used set 1580 as the descendant of this one, and that has black wheels so I figured 'what the hey!' (...) Then again, there haven't been any Pre CS (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Scout

(...) Allister, Ooohh...From those pics alone I'd say you nailed PCS for this baby! The overall design of the Scout works well! Good continuation of the glass curvature via those 2 rows of /---\ hatches. From what I can make out, the engines look (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Scout

Better pics soon, but here's a taste. By the time I get around to photographing this properly I might have the 'big' one made as well (what's the emoticon for 'fingers crossed'?) (URL) - also 1,2 & 4 Cheers, Allister (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ogel's Gyro Sub

Very cool! I like the spears up on front. I must say though, that I think the dishes would seriously hamper operation were it a real sub. I like the use of the dish pieces all the same though. Neat. -Stefan- (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Idea: small hatch

Ditto. Hey, that's perfect for my new MOC!!! The original model was 99.99% based on the Republic Cruiser from Episode I. That one met with...an unfortunate demise. The new iteration is going to have modified engines, modified bridge area, and a (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: lego.kepplah.com down?

(...) Maybe you're jumping to conclusions a little fast. Now if you see the image uploaded to LEGO.com for the builders competition, we'll know he stole it! :-) -Tim (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: lego.kepplah.com down?

(...) Oh, yeah, like we're supposed to actually believe that lame excuse? Come on now, out with the truth...you didn't actually build it did you! You stole the pic from some poor kid and now you're claiming it for your own, but you forgot to steal (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) Actually the teeth on those parts are set in 15° increments, so they work basically the same as the new ones, but don't look as cool and are more fiddly to work with and require more parts per joint. Just thought I'd mention that before anyone (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
