Re: Fleebnorks and Sea Monkeys and Turbocycles Oh My!

Very cool bikes. I'd have to say my favorite is... um... well... the Sea Monkey Maurauder! Outstanding. And wheels that turn into propellors? Brilliant! I like this line "Nagged for months by Felix Greco...". Once again, annoyance pays off. If it (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

  Re: An Ugly MOC

(...) why thanks tim. i feel like building it taught me alot. which is what is important.. there were several things i was trying (the red stripe, the inward slope walls, the detailed interior) that i think came out better than i expected. which is (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: An Ugly MOC

(...) Huh. I won't say anything mean, because, well, that's not constructive criticism. I will say (as someone else also mentioned) that this looks more architectural than spacefaring. Elaborate on the shape a bit and it would make a pretty nifty (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: An Ugly MOC

(...) the Duvernay Mk2 will feature more SNOT.. but mostly as detail. I'm not exactly sure how to make it structurally SNOT without going into it hardcore, like the Bardiel or something. That's why I LLOOVVEE it when people post construction picts (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

A.C.E.R. Sprite Insertion Mech - Build your own

Remember this? (URL) you can build your very own with these CAD generated instructions. (URL) thanks, of course, to Gil Shaw for building such a sweet little model, and for providing photos detailed enough to model it in CAD. Also see it here: (URL) (...)   Re: Zenith MOC

(...) Travis, I like: o The sketch, very nice design. o The cockpit: interior and canopy o The choice of pieces: big inverse slopes for intakes. Some Suggestions: o A little more care in transitions. The nose hits the mid section with the curved (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: PreCS MOC

You can see that I loved what you did... after seeing your canopy, I just kinda sneezed this out. (URL) tons -tk "Soren Roberts" <bricklovinfreakboy@attbi.com> wrote in message news:HAqF5D.LGA@lugnet.com... (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: An Ugly MOC

(...) It looks like a really cool design for a ship made from a converted cargo container, or an emergency escape vessel from a war-torn planet-very functional, small, & rugged. This is not meant to be a mean comment, that's just what it reminded me (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: An Ugly MOC

wow... your right. that is ugly. I don't think I would have admitted making that, much less documented and posted it. I guess that if I had a suggestion, it might be to think less architecturally. This thing looks way more like a moonbase than an (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: An Ugly MOC

I think you should try more non-traditional building if you are not satisfied with this design. SNOT can do ALOT. Whoa new motto. Anyway, I'd say just experiment, most of my best MOCs come from taking a few parts and tring to figure out new and (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: An Ugly MOC

Lenny - Don't be so down on yourself... we all have our off times. For what it's worth, I think it's a great attempt. I like how you tried to break up the box shape by using the sloped braces. While it probably didn't pan out the way you wanted, (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)
