Hi, lnpd is a very old program and has several problems, it does not support the protocol used by brickOS, lacks support for the USB tower and may lose packets as soon as they get too large (>8 bytes or so). 		NQC 2.3 r1 for Win32 W/ USB Support
Just so everyone knows, I threw together a compiled version of NQC 2.3 r1 for USB on Win32 last nite, it works. As Mike pointed out, it is a hyper-threading problem. The reason for winXP not working, but W2K works, may very well be that W2K does not support hyperthreading feature, but WinXP does.
