  Re: LNP Addressing Schemes

(...) It's quite simple: Currently, there are two kinds of LNP-Packets: the first one is called the integrity packet (switch your mail-reader to fixed font now): +--+---+---...---+---+ |F0|LEN| IDATA |CHK| +--+---+---...---+---+ F0 : identifies an (...) (...) Yes, you are both right (Thanks anyway) 1. TextLCD.print() works perfectly when called from simple programs 2. My code is most probably using too deep calls (Why is this not covered in the 10/10 'Core' book of Bagnall) BUT, QUESTION FOR YOU (...) (22 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

Re: BrickOS & BricxCC - coming soon to a Windows PC near you

(...) My goal would be to have BricxCC work with C/C++ BrickOS programs much like it works with NQC & MindScript programs now. You have a file open in the editor. You press the compile button and it either performs a make without errors or a little (...) (22 years ago, 5-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Revisions to RcxCC

(...) Adding Scout support, if you are relying on Spirit.ocx, is essentially the same as providing Cybermaster support. It was very simple for me to add Scout support to RcxCC. I'll email you my revised RcxCC source code if you'd like. I am not a (...) (24 years ago, 9-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: Is there a NQC HowTo out there someplace?

(...) Well there are books called "Teach yourself C in 5 days", 21 days and so on... try amazon books. NQC is not actually a full C compiler, it has been simplified a great deal and if you learn the basics from a book, you'd be ready to go with NQC (...) I've downloaded NQC, and got it running. I have been able to make the motors run, to make them run backwards, then forward, etc. However... I can't get the sensor thing to work right.
