  Brickos fun and games!

Hello. I have finally got gcc 2.95.3 - the official brickos compiler - installed on my computer (SUSE Linux). I can type "make" and compile all the brickos directory fine. firmdl3 works fine. BUT, dll doesn't seem to work. When I use dll to download (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  LNPD: communication between clients

It seems that when a client of lnpd sends data to the IR tower, these are not sent to the other clients connected to the daemon. Unfortunately, I really need this feature... So I tried to call "deliver_packet(tx_buffer, tx_end-tx_buffer);" in (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: WINLNP QUESTIONS

I did some more digging. When I look into the reg I do not find the reg keys as mentioned on the (URL) page. I dig in the code and set the com port by hand (directly to com1) and now I have the green ligth on the IR tower. However still no messages (...) Hi, I'm trying to install legOS 0.2.4 on my rcx from a windows system. I need to use it for a computer programming class I'm taking.   Re: Help with Windows 2000 and nqc

What com port is the tower attached to? By default, NQC assumes com port 1. If you use a different port, you'll need to specify it either with a -S option or by setting the RCX_PORT environment variable. For example, if you are using COM 2, you (...)   Piggybacking sensors, but in a different way

Is it possible to piggyback 1 sensor onto two rcx's? For instance, have one light sensor connected to port 1 of two different rcx's at the same time.   Re: Battery voltage available within NQC?

(...) If you REALLY wanted to do this, you could use the bytecode to broadcast the battery information to the IR tower and have a service running on the PC which would recieve the battery message and then send an appropriate message back to the RCX.   Re: Firmware download troubles

A likely explanation for your downloading problem is the following. Standard Lego software uses 2400 baud data rate and a protocol that sends "double" bytes. The "double" byte is that each data byte is followed by its complement. Alternative (...) (22 years ago, 10-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
