  RE: TpForth Project ?

  sys_timer

I recently adopted legOS as my development environment and I have to say I tremendously impressed. Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard on it. It is really a first class, grade A product.   A few notes...

Ha! Just completed my first LegOS program - and it only took a month! (off and on :) ) I'm going to note some things which stalled me, in the hope that they won't stall anyone else..   When the OS makes the difference

Yesterday, Sunday 26th March, we had our 4th Italian Legofest. This time our traditional robotic contest was about line following, and 10 peopled compared their ideas, their knowledge and their ability running their robots for maximum speed on a 7m (...)   Re: RCXCC or Visual NQC 2001?

I haven't tried Visual NQC, neither have I tried the new version of RCXcc of John Hansen. I'm still using the old Mark Overmars RCXcc and I'm quiet happy with it. The reason for not trying al those new ones is the long term expectations. Neither of (...) (23 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  HOWTO news :(

I just got back from vacation 2-3 hrs ago, and have just found out that the school cleared our one-year name leases while I was gone.   Re: Light sensor initialization?

I haven't done that yet. But if you're doing a line follower, I would suggest the following: 1. First, build the line follower in such a way that it can rotate in place and make the light sensor sweep out a circle on the ground as it rotates. 2. (...) (...) Well I can't say I have the RCX plugged in when I'm running a vehicle, I *ALWAYS* have it plugged in when it's not in use.
