  Solved my problem with lnpd
 
Hi, I've solved my problem that RCX didn't receive correctly from tower. I've posted the patch at the brickos project site at sourceforge. Luis, I found a half dead 9V battery and put it in my tower. I am getting similar results, except I hang after the first or second reading. Something like: 0) 41 1) 41 And that is it.   Connecting to RCX
 
Any pointers on how to get NQC to actually talk to the RCX would be gratefully received! I've searched around and tried everything that I can come up with but still can't make NQC send data correctly to the RCX. I've doublechecked that the serial (...) hi there we seem to have a not so tiny problem with lnp, we can send messages from the tower to the rcx, but until now we have failed to get the rcx to send a message tot the computer, we have tried various versions of the legos kernel, none of them (...) hi, (1. PROBLEM) :o) i am trying to send something from my rcx to my pc(serial tower) via lnp. with my rcx program running i started lnpdump to see if anything arrives at my pc, but nothing seems to arrive. with my pc-side program i also cant (...) I am using a serial tower with a Keyspan adapter and the setup works great for NQC following your readme file. I had been wondering though, (...)   problems with nqc under linux
 
Hallo! Has anybody experiences with nqc for linux on notebooks? I want to use nqc under linux on a notebook computer. I use a serial pcmcia card from socket communications. The serial port is configured as ttyS0 (irq 4 and io-adr. 0x03f8 are (...) (23 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

The program "dll" attempts to delete the program in the slot on the RCX that the new program will be placed. It does this every time, because, it doesn't know if a program is there or not (better safe than sorry). The fact that you are getting this (...) (...) Don't forget that your monitor may also interfere with the download. I've had problems go away when I put the RCX/tower away from the front of my monitor...   true tcp/ip on the RCX
 
I ve got the very first and only tcp/ip enabled RCX in my room, cool, eh ? I will make a webpage at the end of the week to make the very first (rudimentary, but working) version available to the public. Right now, the tcp/ip stack is compiled into (...) Yes, go here and get the software (URL) Has anyone tried to communicate with the RCX using a pocket pc? If you (...) You have to use a serial tower and a serial cable. (Null modem most likely.) On an old project I used to work on, I actually used an SREC dump routine, but here the tower would cause problems because the PC would keep having to poll for addresses.
