| Hello Martin, pthreads and select sound fairly portable. And, as I mentioned before, there's a way of having Windows dispatch asynchronous serial events to programs, so work on porting would be fairly localized. The library approach has one serious (...) | I finally got my scheduler working on 0.1.6. Porting it to 0.1.7 wasn't too painful. But when I tested it (I have been testing with demo/tm-and-ir), I found that there is junk (not necessarily alphanumeric characters) displayed on the LCD. Thinking (...) | Hello, I'm new to this newsgroup but I need help with an issue... I'd like to control my rcx (with legos) with a tv remote control or likewise. When you've set the sensor to passive mode, you should be able to manipulate the sensor power bits using these functions[1] or just use the (...) | (...) Actually, the sensors run on 9V too. Why would you not want to use the IR port to get them to cooperate? | Proximity detections in ROBOLAB? It is possible to use the IR port on the RCX for proximity detection in NQC but I can'y find a way to do the same in ROBOLAB - is there anyone that has done that?
