  LDCC control from PC

Hello people, I got a bit tired of compiling and uploading programs to a second RCX every time I need to make a small change (ok, adding the possibility to do adjustments with the remote control helps a bit), so I decided to make a win-program that (...)   BricxCC-brickOS (bash) interoperability problems

Hi all. I am using BicxCC versión 3.3.7.17 with my RCX and brickOS.   BricxCC Scripting

  WiiMote controlled shipyard crane

Recently, I've bought WiiMote (Nintendo Wii Controller), which can be tethered to a regular PC via Bluetooth. You can then use for example this library - (URL) - to read WiiMote buttons, IR and accelerometer data. I've combined this with a simple (...) (17 years ago, 27-Jan-08, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  RIS 2.0 software

I just gave my 12 year old daughter a RIS 1.0 (yep, an original one with the 1.0 RCX) set for her birthday. Unfortunately, it looks like the software supplied with the set doesn't seem to work with XP (it seems to install, but doesn't want to run). (...) (17 years ago, 16-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: Solved Virtual Memory problem! (was: I can't get the RCX 1.5 software to run on WinXP)

(...) Might be a 16bit/32bit problem (or similar 24/32bit), precisely 1GB (coded on 32 bits) could return 0 when truncated to 16 or 24 bits by old software. 3000MB truncated to 16 or 24 bits might be OK. Philo (17 years ago, 10-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Solved Virtual Memory problem! (was: I can't get the RCX 1.5 software to run on WinXP)

Okay, I got it working. Here's the short version of the problem: I installed the RCX 1.5 software on a WinXP machine with 1GB of memory. The installation went fine. When I tried to run the program, it beeped and hung with a blanked screen. After (...) (17 years ago, 9-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Help! I installed the RCX 1.5 software on my WinXP machine. I got no errors during setup, but when I tried to run it I got an error saying it needs 3MB of virtual memory.
