From all the posts I've gotten so far, this is a very sad day for lego......

Maybe in a few years, Lego will come to its senses and start off a new
supercharged RIS 3.0. that will have a built-in, slimmer, lighter,
rechargable battery, with more memory, faster proccessor, and add on ports
for more I/Os.

Sigh

(...) Well, golly! some of this is coming true. (^_^) (albeit three years later) I for one am mighty happy about the rechargable battery in the Education version of the NXT!!! Ok, I haven't been around for a little while and I haven't seen any news at all about this, so I'm going to ask my fellow members: What's happening to the RIS?? The last update, 2.0, was not even close to being an update, all there was was some (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx)
