Well, Philo did it again, Hourrah for him... I bypassed the fuse and the RCX came back to life. Now, will I be carefull enough with my RCX without a fuse or should I replace it ? (17 years ago, 2-Sep-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

ok, now i understand what you mean. the problem is that this setup could be difficult for long axes, i guess the axle with the worm gears would flex too much... (manually wouldn't be a problem) one possibility would be to slowly turn the spindle while the tool is being inserted so it finds the axlehole more (...)
