  Re: RCX remote jammer

(...) I haven't actually used the program in a long time, and I'm getting compiler errors now - I think I've updated BricxCC/NQC since then, and I might have to adjust a few things. At any rate, it shouldn't be far from working, so play around with (...) (18 years ago, 17-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

  RCX remote jammer

this is going to be short, b/c I only have a minute. Check out (URL) (after mod) for an NQC program that will allow you to jam almost any IR remote control signal. Direct prgm link: (URL) Instructions: (URL) Enjoy, and please give me feedback (...) (18 years ago, 16-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

  Re: BricxCC Feedback Requested

(...) I've never docked the current toolbars to the side. I wouldn't miss it. (...) I do normally rearrange them (normally to a single row). I'd be annoyed for a few minutes then forget all about it if it was removed :) (...) Personally, I hate the (...) (18 years ago, 16-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: BricxCC Feedback Requested

(...) There are no functional differences between the planned toolbars and menus aside from the toolbar docking support. The difference is really just in appearance. I have spent the last several months in my real job working on a project to spruce (...) (18 years ago, 16-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

  Re: BricxCC Feedback Requested

(...) John, As other's have elluded to, I am not worried about changes to the IDE environment... I am hooked on this tool, so whatever you come up with, I will work with it.. Dave (18 years ago, 16-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

  Re: BricxCC Feedback Requested

(...) Me too- what he said, all of it. Mindstorms wouldn't be 1/16 as cool without BricxCC. But I just use it, I don't move stuff around. Tim (Smith) (18 years ago, 16-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

  Re: BricxCC Feedback Requested

(...) Nope. I leave stuff where it is. (...) Nope. I leave stuff where it is. (...) The whole BricxCC environment is the single most important feature making Mindstorms inherently usable for me. Thanks John, for all the work you've put into its (...) (18 years ago, 16-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

  Re: BricxCC Feedback Requested

(...) I never use this. (...) Don't use it. Wouldn't miss it. (...) In any event, I really like BricxCC. Thank you for giving me something easy with which to program my RCXs! (18 years ago, 16-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: BricxCC Feedback Requested

(...) No - I never use it. (...) Well I have used that to arrange the toolbars how I prefer, but I've no doubt I could get used to a different configuration fairly quickly, so no major objections there. (...) Well I don't use outlook, so I don't (...) (18 years ago, 15-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

  BricxCC Feedback Requested

I am revising the BricxCC GUI a bit and I would like to get some input from users. Do you care about docking toolbars to the left, right, or bottom of the BricxCC main window? In other words, would it bother you if that feature was removed? What (...) (18 years ago, 15-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

Re: LNPd with USB Tower - success?

Hi, lnpd is a very old program and has several problems, it does not support the protocol used by brickOS, lacks support for the USB tower and may lose packets as soon as they get too large (>8 bytes or so). Collision detection does not work as long (...) (18 years ago, 15-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: What's the highest number RCX out there?

(...) Looks like they are definitely not unique - I have a 1.0 number 016642 that is already listed by Mox in NZ. ROSCO (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)

Re: What's the highest number RCX out there?

(...) I have two of them, both marked as RCX 1.0, although only one has a power connector. The powered one is 041020, and the "plain" one is 432865. (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: What's the highest number RCX out there?

(...) Hoh! That is so cool! I would love to see it graphed. Someone should promote the adding of data to this. I had completely forgotten about it. When I got my first RCX, I remember being required to "register" it at the official website. But I (...) (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: What's the highest number RCX out there?

Re: What's the highest number RCX out there?

(...) Todd, I know there was an RCX #1 (000001). I'm pretty sure both the 1.0 and 1.5 are marked as 1.0 At one time, someone started a list of RCX numbers. I couldn't find it on the web. I have a 2.0 numbered 767082 Steve (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: What's the highest number RCX out there?

(...) I have 690581, it's a 2.0 brick, but I can't be sure whether it's from MS 1.5 or 2.0. ROSCO (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: What's the highest number RCX out there?

(...) Marc Atkin's Film: "2001: A LEGO Odyssey" had an RCX with the number 412789 on it. It is not know or clear from the video if the RCX was a 1.0 version with DC power lead. Todd (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

What's the highest number RCX out there?

RCX owners, What is the highest number RCX out there? One assumes that the RCX with the highest number would represent the number made if you also assume that the RCX bricks were made sequential. So I would like for others to report the highest (...) (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: Will NXT will work on Intel Macs ???

Hi, given that Intel Macs come with Rosetta as the legacy compatibility layer, even if LEGO doesn't ship NXT with universal binaries, the SW should run on the Intel Macs with reasonable performance. I'm quite curious about NXT actually since it took (...) (18 years ago, 8-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
