Re: RCX sensor interfaces - diodes

The main advantage of the BAT85 is the lower voltage drop (about 0.3 Volt against 0.7 Volt for the 1N4148). (...) (23 years ago, 28-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: 1.0,1.5 or 2.0 ? what gives ?

Using a multiplexor from (URL) you can hook four touch sensors up to one port. The multiplexor (URL) you to determine if any of three sensors is pressed, when you hook up a forth it masks the other three and but if you assume that only one side at a (...)   1.0,1.5 or 2.0 ? what gives ?

hi, is this list still working ? last time i tried to post i got an error 0 ? whatever that means. anyways. if it works, then i have the following question! what does RCX 2.0 bring us that 1.0 and 1.5 doesnt already have ? i have looked at the (...)   Re: color-coded (by target) HTML NQC API documentation

hi Mark, that looks very nice. I was looking forward for something like this for a long time, good work. But I'm not always on line, so is it available for download ?   Gyro Sensor for RCX?

Hi there, I just came across a micro gyroscopic sensor Development Kit on: (URL) device would make a very nice turn and spin sensor for the RCX.   RCX sensor interfaces - diodes

I'm in the middle or working out the circuit for my gray encoder sensor and looking at the various interface schemes.   Re: new RoboLab 2.5 compatible with old serial IR tower & RCX 1.0

1) If you have a serial tower, there is no reason I can think of to purchase the USB tower. If you use a USB tower, then you will need the USB support that Robolab 2.5 provides. 2) The hardware differences between the 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 bricks are (...)   Re: Light sensor initialization time?

I suspect this is due to the fact that the first sample from the sensor is actually being obtained while the sensor's reservoir capacitor is still charging. Why don't you try a simple test, actually two tests; 1. Initialise as passive sensor Wait 1 (...) (23 years ago, 27-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

  Light sensor initialization time?

Hellow! Here a little fact: the first reading on the light sensor _just_ after you have activated it is too high. It seems like one has to wait a little after activating the sensor.   Mass and other spec's for RCX components

  RIS 2.0 support for Scout?

Does the software in RIS 2.0 (set 3804 and upgrade kit set 3805) support the Scout? Just wondering because (URL) says that RoboLab 2.5 supports the Scout. (23 years ago, 26-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.scout, lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)
